Rainbows

>Genesis 9:14-17 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all the living creatures of every kind on the earth. So God said to Noah, " This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."


If God and Jesus are the same, and Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, then if God GIVES His Word ( as in the promis in the rainbow) then God IS the rainbow, and the colors of the rainbow represent His Glory.(the unexplained manifestation of God's presence). I have often wondered why the symbol of the LGBT movement is the rainbow. After some digging, I discovered that the original LGBT rainbow flag had hot pink as it's first color, which represented sexuality, and turquoise as the 6th color, which represents magic/art.

LGBT Colors and meanings:
hot pink: sexuality
red: life
orange: healing
yellow: sunlight
green: nature
turquoise: magic/art
indigo/blue: serenity/harmony
violet: spirit

The Christian rainbow colors/ meanings: (these may not be in order)
Red- Symbolizes blood atonement, sacrifice of Christ's blood, covenant of grace, cleansing justification
Orange- Symbolizes praise, warfare, passion, fire, harvest season, Separation
Amber- Glory of God, flaming throne of God, Father's heavenly care
Yellow(gold)- Symbolizes the color of glory, as well as trial and purging.
Green- Symbolizes praise, eternal life, vigor, prosperity, mercy, restoration, health, healing, new beginning, freshness, God's Holy seed, harvest, sowing and reaping, immortality, fresh oil, new life, joy in hope.
Turquoise- River of God, sanctification, healing, life-giving flow of the Holy Spirit, the New Jerusalem
Blue- eternal presence of Yahweh, color of sky righteousness of God, healing, heavenly realm, prayer, priesthood, revelation knowledge, Word of God, Messiah
Purple-Royalty with ruling power, Jesus' royalty , majesty, wealth, power, penitence, kingdom authority, mediator, majesty, wealth, power
Pink- Combination of Red (Adam's flesh) and White (Creator)= corruption of flesh, and also symbolizes lust.

Other colors in the bible and what they represent; White- symbolizes Creator, righteousness acquired through the blood of Christ. Also symbolizes the Bride's garment, holiness, angels, peace, triumph, glory, joy, light. Brown- man as we are on earth Bronze- Judgement upon sin; fires of testing

Primary colors
>Primary colors cannot be formulated from mixing other colors together. By using the three primary colors and mixing either white or black, any hue in the spectrum will be obtained.
Red, yellow, and blue are considered primary colors.
Red=(OUDEM- red clay)- root word for Adam, Esau, Edom = flesh
Yellow= trials, purging, fire
Blue= Word and healing power of God
